CHAPTER XI PURCHASE OF STATIONERY AND PRINTING STORES AND PRINTING OF FORMS 1101 . Purchase Policy.—The policy of the Government of India is to make their purchases of printing and stationery stores for the public service in such a way as to encourage the development of the industries of the country to the utmost possible extent consistent with economy and efficiency. In accordance with this policy, the following rules are prescribed for the purchase of such stores for Railways. These rules supersede all previous orders on the subject and apply to the purchase of all the Ptg. and Sty. Stores, as dealt with and supplied by the Govt. of India, Controller of Ptg. and Sty. from time to time.
